Picks of April, 2016• Chinese Chicken CauliflowerOur home cooking recipe for Chinese chicken fried cauliflower, the marinated chicken is stir-fried with cauliflower, tender and full of flavour. Very simple to make. The post also includes two other versions of this recipe. Click the picture to see the recipe. • Chinese Mapo Tofu Our home cooking recipe for Chinese Mapo Tofu, soft tofu simply fried and seasoned by Sichuan pepper corns and chilli bean paste. The original Mapo Tofu dish from Sichuan is almost fully covered by the red chili oil. Our family cooking uses much less oil and less chili, so it is a relatively light version of Mapo tofu, a healthy version. • Chinese Tofu & Pork Mince Yes, another tofu dish. This post is the update of a previous recipe. Unlike Mapo tofu which is used soft type of tofu, this dish needs the firm tofu, because the tofu is "red cooked" with pork mince.
