Authentic Chinese Food LoversIssue 21# Oct 31, 2015 Hello, Well, how time flies, the month of October has gone. Did people celebrate the Halloween in your place? The place I am living now in the UK really takes Halloween seriously. The street shops started decoration few weeks before Halloween. During the night, locals would dress up and go out street to see a big parade, big event. But in China we don't have Halloween, otherwise, it will be fun:) In this issue, you will see: • Recipe: Chinese Spicy Pork Liver • Chinese Twice Cooked Pork • Cooking Video: Chinese Pork Liver Fried Green Chilli • Travel Video: Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower Picks of Oct, 2015• Chinese Spicy Pork LiverPork liver, called Zhu Gan (猪肝) in Chinese, is a good resource of iron and protein. This Chinese pork liver recipe is from our family cooking, in which the marinated pork liver is fried with green chilli. The liver is very tender, hot spicy and full of nutrition. Click the picture to see the recipe. • Chinese Twice Cooked Pork Belly This recipe is an updated version of what I posted at very early days. In fact it turned out to be one of the popular recipes from my site. The cooking video for this recipe is the second most viewed in my Youtube channel. For this twice cooked pork belly dish, the meat is boiled first then fried, so name twice cooked. It is easy to make but very tasty:) • Cooking Video: Chinese Pork Liver Fried Green Chilli Click this link to watch video for Chinese Pork Liver Fried Green Chilli on Youtube.
