Authentic Chinese Food Lovers

Issue 11# Nov.30, 2014.

Hello,

In this issue, I have two Chinese home cooking recieps, plus one post about Chinesse culture: "Beijing opera characters". There are also two videos have been posted this month, hope you will enjoy them. In this issue, you will see:

Chinese Pork Mince with Rice Noodle

Chinese Egg Fried Onions & Wood Ear

Videos: Chinese Cumin Tofu & Xian Muslim Street Food

Picks of November

Chinese Pork Mince with Rice Noodle

In Chinese cooking, rice noodle is very often used as the ingredient rather than main food. The dish using Chinese pork mince with rice noodle is a very common family dish. It also has a fancy Chinese name called “Ma Yi Shang Shu”, meaning “ants climb the tree”. But my version does not follow the traditional way, as it has too many "ants", not enough "trees", still tasty though:)

China Egg Fried Onions & Wood Ear

I love egg dishes, good source of protein, easy to make. This egg fried onions is a very common Chinese home cooking dish, nothing too fanciful, but simple, easy and tasty.

Beijing Opera Characters

This post has some pictures of Beijing opera characters, which I took when I attended a conference in Beijing. I gave some brief introduction about those characters, if you are interested in Chinese culture, or Beijing opera, you might like it.

Video of Nov: Chinese Cumin Tofu

For this month, I have edited the video for Chinese Cumin Tofu, my father's cooking. Have a look, hope you like it.

Video for Xian Muslim Street Food

This video is made for my photos from Xian Muslim Street Food. You may have seen some of them in my web site but it has more photos. Thanks for watching, share & subscribe:)
